Create a peaceful autumn woodland filled with colorful foliage, towering trees, rocky banks, and a softly flowing stream. Inspired by the relaxing landscape-painting style made famous on public television, this class will introduce you to several fun tools and techniques for building texture, depth, and beautiful fall color.
During this artist-guided class, you’ll work on a 16×20 wrapped canvas and learn how to use a fan brush, and palette knife to create foliage, tree trunks, rocks, reflections, and other natural details. Our artist will guide you through the painting while encouraging you to add your own creative touches—because every scene deserves a few happy little surprises!
